Open M.Sc, Ph.D and postdoc positions:

  1. Cloud-atmosphere-ocean coupling in a hierarchy of climate models
  2. Ocean heat transport on seasonal time scales in a hierarchy of climate models
  3. Dynamic and energetic constraints on the tropical rain belt
  4. The effect of continent distribution on tropical climate
  5. The relation of volcanic events and tropical precipitation
  6. Tropical precipitation biases in climate models
  7. Decomposition of energy, momentum, and moisture budgets in observations.

Considered an advantage: physics or math background, training in atmospheric dynamics, experience in climate modeling and geophysical data, experience with Unix/Linux environment, advanced skills in Matlab or Python.
